Step 3 – Add A Unique Channel Art

Add a unique channel art that is going to serve as cover photo for your new channel.

Your channel art is the large image at the top of your channel page. This is your chance to feature a unique image that represents who you really are or what you care about.

Here are some Best Practices for Effective YouTube Video channel art:

• Make Use of artwork/image that is catchy which will draw the attention of your viewers. The channel art will make your channel unique compared to other channels on YouTube.

• Always make sure your YouTube channel art size is right: 2560 px wide by 1440 px tall which is the YouTube recommended size for channel art.

In order to make money using Google AdSense you have to set it up first. Here are the steps to follow to setup Google AdSense:

You must have a Google account, a website or blog in which to place ads, and a mailing address.

Step 1 – Get A Google Account

If you have a Gmail account already that means you have a Google account. If you don’t, you can go to www.gmail.com to sign up.

Step 2 – Locating Google Adsense Site

Go to www.google.com, click on “Business” button which is at the lower left of your screen. On the “Google Business Solutions” page, scroll down to locate “AdSense” button and click on it.

Step 3 – Sign Up For Google Adsense

Click on “Sign up now” button to get started. Sign in with your Google account created in Step 1 above. On the next page, type in your website address and choose your preferred language.

Fill in all the details requested for and click on “submit my application” button.

Step 4 – Agree To Adsense Terms And Conditions

Go through AdSense Terms and Conditions, after reading, check the box next to “Yes, I have read and accept the agreement” and click on the “Accept” button. After submitting your request, wait for the approval from Google AdSense team.

Immediately your request is approved by Google AdSense team, you will receive an approval email from them.

Step 5 – Placing The Ads On Your Website/Blog

Go through the email you receive from Google to locate the AdSense HTML code. Post the AdSense HTML code into your website’ HTML code.

Confirm to see if the Google Ads is showing on your website/blog already.
